Insurance-Based and Consultation Services

Insurance-Based
We are currently not accepting new patients for our insurance-base primary care practice, except through personal request.  Our practice is at this time full. However, our specialty services, including hormone balance, functional medicine, weight management, epigenetics, and nutritional care is available to new patients through our private pay consultation option.

Consultation - Private Pay
We are accepting new private pay consultations for our multiple specialty services including hormone optimization with bio-identical hormones and pellet therapy, complicated functional and internal medicine consultation, epigenetic evaluation, peptides/stem cell treatments, and weight management. Our consultation charge will be dependent on the service provided. Generally, initial consultation fee is $300 and subsequent fees will be $150. We do accept distant and out of state consultations, which can be done virtually or in office.

Epigenetic Testing and Consultation

Epigenetics is the study of how your behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect the way your genes work. Unlike genetic changes, epigenetic changes are reversible and do not change your DNA sequence, but they can change how your body reads a DNA sequence.

Consultation will go over the results of the patient's customized genetic report which is generated through StrateGene from the seekinghealth.com Website.  The report will require the patient to upload their raw data from 23andMe or Ancestry DNA.

The results help patients determine if they have genetic variations that can lead to susceptibilities to specific health issues. This report will provide information as to where a patient's DNA has certain changes, or variations, known as SNPs or single nucleotide polymorphisms. SNPs change the structure and shape of the specific enzymes they create. These enzymes can be related to nutrient levels, toxic byproduct breakdown, and even mood. Knowing where our genes and enzymes need support is important for optimizing health.

Functional Medicine Consultation

Functional medicine determines how and why illness occurs and restores health by addressing the root causes of disease for each individual. The functional medicine model is an individualized, patient-centered, science-based approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness.

It requires a detailed understanding of each patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and leverages that data to direct personalized treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes. By addressing root cause, rather than symptoms, practitioners become oriented to identifying the complexity of disease. They may find one condition has many different causes and, likewise, one cause may result in many different conditions. As a result, functional medicine treatment targets the specific manifestations of disease in each individual.

Peptide Therapy

Peptides are small proteins consisting of short chains of amino acids that the body uses as hormones and signaling molecules for biological pathways. They play a role in specific biological functions including weight loss, sexual health, digestion, hormone production. They are also used to treat age-related conditions, osteoporosis, obesity, inflammatory disease, neurological degeneration, and even neuropathy.

Peptides can be used to improve overall wellness in the body as well as decreasing the effects of aging. They can help with decreasing inflammation, weight management, improving libido, stimulating growth hormones, helping with anxiety and depression, joint and muscle repair, improving mental clarity and focus, and improving insomnia. Patients with Lyme disease, chronic inflammation, autoimmune disease and other chronic degenerative conditions may also benefit from peptide therapy.

Peptide treatment is generally considered risk-free and can be employed to produce very targeted effects. They are administered either topically, with troches, or injected subcutaneously.

Peptides available:

Gonadorelin (increases LH and FSH, improves testicular function, menstrual irregularities, fertility)

CJC 1295 (increases IGF-1 and growth hormone, leading to fat loss, lean muscle growth, and enhanced sleep)

Ipamorelin (increases growth hormone)

BCP-157 (accelerates wound healing, muscle/tendon/ligament healing, inflammatory bowel disease, gastric ulcers)

AOD-9604 (fat reduction, weight loss, cellulite reduction, osteoarthritis)

Selank and Semax (neuro-restorative, generalized anxiety disorder)

Epithalon (anti-aging, increases telomere length)

Other peptides not listed (inquire during consultation)

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)

LDN blocks certain proteins that cause symptoms of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome in the nervous system, which is the primary controlling and communicating system in the body.

LDN works as an anti-inflammatory, leading to reduction of inflammation and swelling within the nervous system.

LDN maintains and improves immune function with effects on the natural killer cell activity, optimizing the immune system's ability to detect and irradicate cancer cell growth.

LDN temporarily blocks endorphin receptors transiently (associated with pain) which subsequently induces an increased release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers.

It has been found to relieve pain and fatigue associated with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Conditions that may benefit from LDN:

Fibromyalgia

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Alzheimer's disease

Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Diabetic neuropathy

Multiple Sclerosis

Parkinson's Disease

Relapsing Major Depressive Disorder

Autoimmune Disorders (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Hashimoto's, etc.)

Restless Leg Syndrome

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Mesenchymal Stem Cell Product and Exosome Treatments

Human Umbilical Cord Derived Tissue Components (exosomes, cytokines, growth factors, nanoparticles, hyaluronic acid, extracellular matrix, such as elastin, Hylauronan, collagen fibers, and fibronectin)

Mesenchymal stem cells also known as mesenchymal stromal cells or medicinal signaling cells are multipotent stromal cells that can differentiate into a variety of cell types, including osteoblasts, chondrocytes, myocytes and adipocytes.

Benefits of Mesenchymal Stem Cell Components:

Pain Management

Immune System Support
Anti-inflammatory Effect

Tissue & Organ Repair

Wound Healing & Skin Health

Aesthetics & Hair Restoration

Enhancing Regenerative Protocols

Anti-aging Effects

EV-PURE™ is an acellular product that contains over 15-75 billion pure exosomes per ml. The exosomes are engineered from placental-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) which possess over 200 growth factors. Exosomes are nano-sized extracellular vesicles that play a primary role in cell-to-cell communication.

They have the power to transfer information and resources, such as nucleic acids, mRNA, and miRNA, throughout the body and deliver them to other cells. The specific patterns of ligands and receptors on the surface of an exosome likely allow the targeting of specific cell types bearing the right counter-ligands. This incredible combination, the ability to transfer valuable components and target the appropriate cell, give exosomes potent influence on the receiving cells' function and physiology.

EV-PURE + is a minimally manipulated, bio-ethical human umbilical cord harvested product manufactured under the AATB and FDA HCT/P 361 guidelines.

HylaPure has cord tissues or cellular components. This product is minimally manipulated, DMSO- free, cryogenically preserved human birth tissue allografts derived from the umbilical cord. These structural tissues contain naturally occurring tissue components such as growth factors, cytokines, and nanoparticles.

HylaJel also has extracellular matrix, such as elastin, Hylauronan, collagen fibers, and fibronectin, as well as naturally occurring tissue components such as growth factors, cytokines, and nanoparticles.

HylaPure and HylaJel  made by BioXstem’s HCT/Ps are processed from bio-ethically donated human birth tissue from healthy, consenting mothers in the United States who have passed a comprehensive medical background check, blood screenings and had full term, live C-Section births.
